NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Data Center Operations Specialist to join our team in El Segundo, California (US-CA), United States (US).

NTT DATA is currently looking for a Data Center Operations Specialist in El Segundo, CA.

Your day will consist of:

Reporting to the Data Center Operations Sr. Manager, you will be tasked with primary supervision of the NOC team. Oversees the activities of assigned staff within a functional area with responsibility for staffing, quality and client service. Directing staff to complete assignments using established guidelines, policies and procedures. Provides feedback on performance issues. Assigns tasks to team members and coordinates the team members' schedules. Resolving escalated data center service issues. Acting as key point of contact with clients on data center operations issues. Managing problems utilizing defined problem and change management policies and procedures. Supporting Data Center infrastructure by installing, maintaining and repairing hardware in order to accommodate Data Center growth. Automation of data center operational workflows.

Responsibilities:

* Resolves escalated data center service issues.
* Acts as key point of contact with clients on data center operations issues.
* Manages problems utilizing defined problem and change management policies and procedures.
* Supports Data Center infrastructure by installing, maintaining and repairing hardware in order to accommodate Data Center growth

Basic Qualifications:
* 5 years of Data Center Operations experience
* 5 years of Wintel or Linux Operating System Administration experience
* 2 years of Project Leadership experience

Desired:
* Experience with one or more of the following scripting languages: Powershell, Perl, JavaScript, Bash, Python
