Job Description

Role: Data Analyst/Developer

Location: Somerville, NJ

Responsibilities:

* Work closely with IT and Business team to understand information requirements and business rules.
* Conduct source data analysis as per project requirements and come up with proper Development design.
* Guide sprint (implementation) team on overall ETL design.
* Develop application and build specific solution based on the client requirement as mentioned in the requirement documents.
* Develop Interface and BI code.
* Develop Re-usable technology components.
* Performance tuning of technical components.
* Perform Unit Testing as per test plan and test cases.
* Code Migration and maintaining the code version through versioning tools.
* Coordination with users for User Acceptance Testing.
* Performance monitoring as per technical design.
* Develop the BI dependency plan and job scheduling.
* Follow project methodology and documentation processes and adhere to coding standards.
* Define data derivation and mapping rules for extracting data from various data sources.
* & nbsp; Review data dictionary - as required, work with Data Steward (s) / business for clarification and alignment on the same.

Must have Skills:

* Good understanding of Data Warehousing Concepts.
* Must have hands on experience with an ETL tool like Informatica, Talend, etc.
* Must have good RDBMS concepts.
* Must have hands on with SQL queries.
* Must be well versed with Unix commands and shell scripting.
* Big bucket or Git versioning tool.
* Hands on Experience working in AWS environment.
