Data Access Services Architect Analyst
Key Role:
Work as an architect analyst supporting the Data Access Services (DAS) program within the Veterans Administration's Electronic Health Record Modernization Program (EHRM). Support the DAS Project Manager (PM) and team with meeting coordination, meeting minutes, action items, work breakdown structure (WBS), integrated master schedule (IMS), risks, documentation support, VIP, acquisition support, budget support analysis, and requirements traceability matrix (RTM). Help the DAS team's transition to the Cloud, including helping the new environments to be stood up and tested and the transition of DAS to the new supported Cloud environments.
Basic Qualifications:
* Experience with the effective use of data provided by cost estimators to create an overall cost versus benefit assessment while considering functional benefits, technical performance, risks, and schedule concerns
* Experience in coordinating with program and project leaders to analyze system architecture
* Ability to thoroughly identify strategies for addressing requirements, risks, and issues
* Ability to conduct detailed trade-off analysis of requirements against fiscal, schedule, and performance issues
* Ability to quickly resolve issues and create architectural vision
* Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, Computer Science, Cost Accounting or related scientific and 5 years of experience. Minimum of 8 years of experience may be substituted for degree requirements
Additional Qualifications:
* Experience in the VA
* Experience integrating electronic health records a plus
