Job Description

We are currently seeking a Cybersecurity Risk Engineering Representative to work out of Zurich's North American Headquarters in Schaumburg, IL.

This role joins the cybersecurity segment within the Risk Engineering SSU business division. In this role your responsibilities will include:

* Collaborates with and supports Security and Privacy Underwriting by providing technical assessments of the cybersecurity defenses, data breach preparedness and information risk management practices of our customers and prospects.
* With supervision and training in Zurich's assessment methodology provides cyber risk assessment and risk improvement services for customers and business partners.
* Provides support to project teams delivering cyber risk mitigation services.
* Researches current security and threat related topics as foundation for knowledge sharing with customers, industry groups and other Zurich business units.
* The job's core deliverables rely on delivering service to internal underwriters as well as external clients, brokers and customers. Typically involves building relationships and promoting the company.

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelors Degree and 2 or more years of work experience (full or part time) in a customer service role

OR

* High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4 or more years of work experience (full or part time) in a customer service role

Preferred Qualifications:

* Degree in Cybersecurity or related curriculum
* Familiarity with cybersecurity assessment frameworks such as the NIST Framework for Improving Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity, ISO 27001, COBiT, etc.
* Familiarity with the following security practices and concepts:
* Asset Inventory
* Vulnerability and Patch Management
* Defense in Depth
* Security Awareness Training
* Security Monitoring
* Incident Response Planning and Testing
* Disaster Recovery Planning and Testing
* Motivation to self-educate and to be aware of current threats, hacker techniques and risk mitigation tactics
* Ability to work unsupervised after a training period
* Comfortable representing Zurich in group scenarios
* Able to present in front of large audiences
