Your Role and Responsibilities

In this exciting role you will be a highly motivated Information Security Officer to join the Enterprise Service Desk team to assist in ensuring that a prototype developed is built and managed in a way that allows system owners and operators to have confidence in the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of their IT

* Comply with operational guidance from the AO, IAPM, and IAM.
* Prepare and develop system security, accreditation, and certification documentation.
* Advise and assist subordinate organizations in the preparation of RMF documentation, Approval to Operate (ATO) requests for existing and proposed system changes.
* Review submitted documentation for accuracy and completeness.
* Advise the AO on risk potential for changes to the network as documented.
* Follow proven methodology, based on the integration of the IBM security framework, Data Security and Privacy and Federal information security framework. This framework provides directives and guidance that govern and control organizational practices within IBM and relations with external stakeholders, and protects the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of our clients' and IBM data.
* The prototype will process IL-4 data and will be capable of operating in an unclassified and classified environment.
* It will demonstrate compliance with Navy cybersecurity requirements such that production ATO may be achieved from the Navy AO (IL-6 for production).
* A plan to achieve an authorization to operate under the Risk Management Framework.
* Demonstrate compliance with cybersecurity requirements such that production ATO may be achieved
* Active DoD Secret Clearance

Required Professional and Technical Expertise

* 12 years of IA management and technical experience

Performed RMF duties for 5 years

Certification: CISSP

Security clearance: Active United States - DoD Secret

Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise

* 12 years of IA management and technical experience performing RMF duties, developing ATO documentation, and performing eMASS entry
* CISA and/or CISM Certification
