Provides Cyber Security Architecture Leadership and security engineering designs and implementation for all aspects of the SQQ-89 Undersea Warfare program. The position is responsible for new cyber security architecture design and development along with integration of new architectural features into existing infrastructures while maintaining the integrity and security of enterprise-wide cyber systems and networks. The position supports the Systems Architecture Lead with system design and an overall cyber security roadmap.

The position requires direct interface with internal customers (hardware, software, integration and test), external customers, and Navy cyber security counterparts/assessors. The duties include supporting project leads and customer stakeholders, and providing guidance to peers in adjacent disciplines to ensure compliance to cyber security requirements.

The candidate will leverage familiarity with open architecture principles and cyber security architecture principles that achieve both system performance requirements and cyber security goals. Additionally, the candidate will have familiarity in cyber security governance standards, such as the Risk Management Framework and commensurate NIST frameworks. The candidate should have familiarity with all phases of the SDLC and cybersecurity lifecycle, from threat modeling and risk assessment, implementation and development, vulnerability assessment and continuous monitoring. The candidate will demonstrate prior experience in assisting/educating customer in evaluating, prioritizing and utilizing risk management techniques as they apply to cyber security.

Basic Qualifications

* Demonstrated experience working with COTS based open architectures. Ability to analyze and negotiate customer requirements.
* Ability to drive architectural decisions on systems under development to meet performance requirements while mitigating Cyber Security vulnerabilities.
* Experience working with classified Information Systems. --Ability to author security plans, maintain accreditations, ability to perform technical certifications for accredited systems. Ability to act as a direct customer advocate, liaison and interface for Cyber architecture related activities.
* CISSP required.
* This position requires a SECRET clearance at a minimum.
