The Client requires a Cyber Security SME to perform and support activities of the group to target, assess, exploit, and report risks and vulnerabilities of organization wireless (WiFi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, RFID, SCADA Wireless, and Cellular) systems and solutions in order to provide senior decision makers with actionable data to make strategic investment decisions. The Cyber Security SME shall also provide recommendations regarding security and functional improvements for subject systems.

Work Requirement:

The Cyber Security SME shall provide documentation to Client which describes all identified system risks, planned test procedures taken, and test results. The Cyber Security SME shall perform analysis of vulnerabilities identified during the testing. The Cyber Security SME shall review and make recommendations on program-level documentation (e.g., requirements specification, system architecture, design documents, test plans, security plans, etc.). The contractor shall will conduct site surveys of all wireless devices to identify previously undiscovered wireless functions and vulnerabilities. The Cyber Security SME shall create and document penetration testing security test plans and procedures that will be approved by the Client. The Cyber Security SME shall conduct hands-on security testing based on the approved test plan and analyze test results, document risk, and recommend countermeasures. The Cyber Security SME shall assist in researching, evaluating, and developing relevant Information Security policies and guidance to improve security. The Cyber Security SME shall actively participate in or lead technical exchange meetings and application review boards, documenting actions items/results of these events. The Cyber Security SME will brief management, as needed, on the status of action items and/or results of activities.

OPTIONAL SKILLS: Demonstrated experience communicating vulnerability results and risk posture to senior executives.

Demonstrated experience with WiFi security policies and guidance, as well as assisting in researching, evaluating, and developing relevant WiFi security policies and guidance.

Demonstrated experience performing complex technical tasks in pursuit of overall goals with minimal direction.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline.

Certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Associate.

GIAC Assessing and Auditing Wireless Networks (GAWN)

Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).

Global Information Assurance Certification Penetration Tester (GPEN).
