Description

* Cyber Security/Computer and Network Defense Subject Matter Expert (SME)


* Concentrates on overall technical and operational effectiveness of capabilities


* Provides recommendation on continuous improvement of the processes and architecture supporting the overall Cyber Defense operational activities including, but not limited to, analysis, incident handling and reporting products, and the reporting lifecycle


* Ensures effective operation of IT systems and network defenses


* Provides effective incident reponse capabilities, usable and effective reports that address overall situational awareness


* Maximizes the use of tools to correlate information and synthsize data into usable and actionable events


* Identifies and provides an agile approach to the automation of any manual or iefficient processes that exist across the cyber defense program


* Recommends and implements technical solutions designed to return time to mission



Qualifications

*

TS/SCI w/ FS Poly


* Bachelors Degree and 8 years of relevant experience against position requirements (Additional experience can be substituted for degree +2 years for associates, +4 years for HS, -2 years for Masters, -4 years for PhD)


* Provides technical / management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments. Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives.


* Has domain and expert technical knowledge.


* Directs and controls activities for a client, having overall responsibility for financial management, methods, and staffing to ensure that technical requirements are met.


* Interactions involve client negotiations and interfacing with senior management.


* Decision making and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project implementation.


* May supervise others.
