Job Description

Cyber Analyst I: Cyber Analyst I has a basic understanding of concepts and terms related to access control systems; cryptography; security architecture; operations security; applications security and systems development; statutory and regulatory compliance; forensics, investigations, or security ethics. Investigates and contributes to large and small-scale computer security incident response events on a global network. Will assist in penetration testing and cyber hunt activities as well as systems certification and accreditation projects, including the development of system documentation, system hardening, safeguard implementation, vulnerability assessments, and risk analysis. Will be responsible for creating tickets, smoothly transitioning escalated tickets, and communicating across teams to coordinate responses to customer reported issues and threats. Prepares and updates documentation on actions taken to correct and mitigate cyber security threats. Also, will be responsible for database administration, network engineering, software engineering/development.

Required: Requires 2+ years GSOC/Helpdesk experience. Bachelor's Degree or higher in Technology and/or Engineering discipline as well as at minimum one of the following certificates: Security+, GCED, GCIH, SANS GIAC GCFA, GREM, GCFE, CERT CSIH, CHFIn or CISSP.

Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.

Active Secret Security clearance is required.

This is a full-time 40-hour week Monday through Friday position, located in Washington, DC.
