Job Description

Infosec's a fast-growing, stable software company with amazing opportunities to start or grow your career. We've been fighting cybercrime since 2004 and are on a mission to equip everyone with the latest security education and skills so the good guys win. It's ambitious. It's rewarding. It's what we do every day. And we're looking for bright, passionate new team members to join us.

At Infosec, you'll be surrounded and supported by bright, ambitious co-workers who share a relentless passion for innovation, collaboration, curiosity and getting things done. There's no our way or the highway here. We believe good ideas can come from anyone - open doors and open ears mean your voice can make a real difference.

Curriculum Manager, Cybersecurity

Our Curriculum Managers are vital members of our content development team who focus on developing, updating and maintaining our cutting edge courseware to support training modules. You bring a solid foundational knowledge in detection of network and software attacks, operating system fundamentals, forensics, reverse engineering, and use it to ensure our content is top-notch.

You are a team player who helps to plan and implement curriculum and educational programs for students within our training programs. Instructional/curriculum design or becoming a corporate trainer are career paths you're interested in pursuing. You'll design content for students so that student learning occurs, skills are developed, and students are motivated to learn and achieve their educational objectives. You'll also support our marketing efforts by reviewing articles for our knowledge resource communities and jump in to help with additional projects when you're needed.

Key skills:

Tech savvy. You know that cybersecurity is a growing concern and that fighting the bad guys is important, but you also have the knowledge to contribute. You've studied networks and operating systems. You're familiar with the certifications available and probably have one yourself.

Editorial. Technical writing isn't just instruction manuals, but you're still clear, concise and have excellent grammar. You have a definite opinion on the Oxford Comma or the singular they and want to be proud of the curriculum we put in front of our students.

Creative. You know how to upcycle and recycle content when possible because you have a thorough understanding of cyber topics. If you need something new, you're able to find it, create it or coordinate its development. You think in the box, out of the box, around the box… Who needs a box?

Positive. We work hard and we want to work hard together. But we also like having fun and we're sure you do too. You're someone who enjoys coming in and working toward a common mission. Not every day is perfect but you look at the bright side.

Your qualifications:

* Knowledge of academic and/or vocational education curricula
* Experience in technical writing and/or curriculum development preferred (e.g. teaching assistant, graduate assistant, etc.)
* Strong interest or background in security, specifically in penetration testing and computer forensics
* Technical Information Technology and Information Security experience (e.g. Network Engineer, System Administrator, Information Security Analyst, etc.)
* Experience with multiple security, networking, and OS certifications
* Experience with tools such as wireshark, metasploit, nmap, etc.
* Strong research abilities and analytical skills
* Understanding of internet and networking technologies and protocols
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
* Comfortable adapting to changing priorities
* Multi-tasker with great time management skills
* Self-directed and able to take on responsibilities with minimal supervision
* Proficiency with MS Office Suite
* Basic programming skills a plus
* In-depth knowledge of Windows, Linux, Mac, OS, and mobile platforms
* Bachelor's degree in CIS, MIS, IT, and/or appropriate skill level in related field.

Why Should You Join Us at Infosec?

* Competitive base salary
* We promote from within! As a growing company, there are many opportunities to move up
* Fun work environment and casual dress code
* Flexible schedule
* Great training to get up to speed quickly!
* 401(k) with company match
* Health benefits (medical, dental, vision and life insurance)
* Paid vacation, sick and holiday time
