Contract NetSuite Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a highly effective Contract NetSuite Developer. This person will utilize best practices and methodologies to develop and implement custom scripted NetSuite solutions for our clients. This developer will work with internal teams and clients throughout implementation projects, providing technical expertise and development experience. This developer must have strong written and oral communication skills.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Develop scripted solutions based on high-level solution design documents

Understand client business process requirements

Assist in documenting functional specifications based on client requirements

Develop and deploy customizations for NetSuite

Develop and implement integrations with NetSuite

Unit test customizations and integrations for functional verification

Implement NetSuite Suite Commerce (Site Builder and Advanced)

Troubleshoot and support NetSuite enterprise technologies

Complete project tasks as assigned, on time and budget

Provide status updates to project managers on a regular basis

Receptive to mentoring

Qualifications

1-2+ years ERP (NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics or similar) systems experience

Thorough understanding of business processes including:

Order to Cash; Procure to Pay; Record to Report

1-2+ years development experience with an ERP application preferred

1-2+ years experience with web development including:

HTML/DHTML/JavaScript/Jquery/CSS/XML

Experience with Aptana/Eclipse IDE or similar

Experience with WebServices and Visual Studio preferred

Experience with NetSuite financials, distribution and CRM functionality preferred

Experience with NetSuite SuiteCommerce (Site Builder and Advanced) preferred

Ability to create and complete project deliverables

Ability to independently manage individual time and tasks

Ability to quickly adapt to new requirements and changing situations

Exhibits professionalism at all times

Education

Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, MIS, or equivalent preferred

Travel

Consulting work will be primarily performed at our client sites. Some amount of overnight travel (approximately 25%) is inherent in any consulting business and will be required of our team members.
