This is a CONTRACT position

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

* Partner with a Sr Engineer on the NOA IT CPH team to operate as part of a systems development team building one or more digital products utilizing AWS technologies.
* Estimate and execute discrete engineering tasks in an orderly JIRA backlog.
* Provide input on implementation details, guided by prior experience and industry best practice.
* Perform tests to validate work.
* Consult with requestors to determine requirements, perform code reviews, and perform testing to validate the work was completed correctly.

SUMMARY OR REQUIREMENTS

* Python scripting including unit testing
* AWS technologies - EC2, Lambda, EKS (Kubernetes), ECS (Docker), CloudFormation, etc
* AWS Networking, Security, and Connectivity concepts (VPC, Subnets, Routes, Security Groups, etc)
* Hashicorp Terraform, Hashicorp Vault, and integrating these technologies with AWS
* Source control and build/integration/deploy tools (Git, Bitbucket, TeamCity)
* Experience with JIRA and Agile methodologies, working in a Sprint rotation, performing peer review
* Experience unit testing Terraform and AWS infrastructure code is a bonus
