Technical Writer: Responsible for creating, updating, enhancing as directed, administering workflow and publishing of site specific (All Walt Disney Parks & Resort and Walt Disney Imagineering) technical content including, but not limited to, manufacturers requirements, maintenance instructions, and associated technical content for Disney Parks and Resorts.
The Technical Writer will provide liaison support between Walt Disney Imagineering and WSA Content Management Publications Studio. The candidate will be required to coordinate with Project estimators and schedulers on project publications deliverables, track and report to WSA management on status of publications and deliverables throughout the project timeline, and assist the Production Studio in final product delivery, including input of content into the TechSource Content Management system, and packaging and delivery of final products as defined in the Project Deliverables Matrix. Works closely with senior management from various departments that are involved in content management activities. Encourages partnerships and promotes synergy.
This is a project hire with no guarantee of permanent placement.

Basic Qualifications
* 2 years experience in the technical publications field, including a thorough knowledge of content of existing Disney technical publications.
* At Least 1 year experience with content management systems. At least 2 years experience in the development of schedules and work plans to accomplish defined goals.

* At least 2 year experience in technical documentation dealing with mechanical and/or electrical and electronic systems.

* Coordinate with Project estimators and schedulers on project publications deliverables to help prepare project estimates and project schedules.
* Packaging and delivery of final products as defined in the Project Deliverables Matrix
