NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Consulting Solution Architect to join our team in New York, New York (US-NY), United States (US).

Key Responsibilities:

* Contributes to the FS sales pursuit strategy and driving the sales cycle together with the FS sales and client leaders
* Leads the design of multiple service areas or technologies within a broader services solution
* Participates or leads in client presentations at the senior management level or higher
* Leads a team of vertical capability solution architects in the design of complex services solutions
* Creates solution design assets for internal use to accelerate sales cycles and positively impact solutions quality
* Leads negotiations with engagement partners and team members (vendors, subcontractors, customers, NTT DATA Services internal stakeholders) to define project goals and strategies for attaining them
* Anticipates potential problems associated with the solution being developed. Develops & leads execution of the technical risk management plan for the solution to be implemented.
* Assesses business and technical impact of solutions, partnering with horizontal practices where appropriate.
* Leads the implementation of solution or provides expert guidance to the solution implementation team



Key Skills:

* Proficient in multiple business aspects of the FS Capital Markets & Wealth Management industries with functional knowledge of applicable systems and technology platforms/packages common in the industry
* Deep knowledge of how solutions fit into a client's overall business architecture as well as technology implications of a solution
* Subject matter expert in NTT DATA Services core digital offerings
* Skills and experience in constructing complex solutions across operations, product design, risk management, customer support and technology
* Thorough understanding of consulting services P&L and cash flow development and business impact of proposed solutions
* In-depth knowledge of assessing operational risk on profitability and impacts to delivery including experience in assessing cost driver attributes of complex services



Relationships:

* Influences a broad spectrum of stakeholders toward achieving business goals
* Builds consensus
* Ensures understanding of solutions by both business and technical, executive decision makers
* Develops mutually beneficial strategic alliances with clients
* Advises and councils key leadership on the latest trends, principles, practices, and/or technologies and their use in driving business outcomes

Preferred geography:

* Key clients heavily concentrated in the Northeastern US (NY / NJ / NE)
* Able to travel extensively as needed per client demands

Basic Qualifications:

* 10+ years of professional experience working in a technical environment
* 5+ years providing solution architecture
* 7+ years management consulting experience
* 5+ years in a financial services environment
