Infosys is seeking EUC-SCCM Engineer for the position in Long Beach CA.The End User/Desktop Engineer role focuses on both tactical (short-term) and strategic (long-term) elements required to support key projects and program delivery for the Enterprise End User Computing organization. The role proactively encourages solutions that are designed to reduce overall Total Cost of Ownership. This role is responsible for providing systems support to client-facing or infrastructure systems for the EUC environment. This includes both basic tasks and knowledge of advanced functions. This role is also responsible for providing mentorship to other members of the team, and is accountable to the release of operational services under the Enterprise End User Computing organization.

As a Consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options and makes recommendations. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Location for this position is Long Beach, CA. This position may require 10% travel

Desired Skills & Experience

Required

* Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
* At least 4 years of experience with Information technology

Preferred

Must Have

* At least 2 years of experience in End Point Support, Windows system Administration, Desktop, Laptop, Printer & Mobile Devices troubleshooting Skills.
* Understanding on AD & Group Policy Management.
* Co-ordination & Escalation management with suppliers & client stakeholders
* Good understanding on ITIL process (Incident, problem, change, release).
* Experience in building the automation scripts for end-user issues.
* Excellent end-user communication skills.
* Knowledge Application Packaging (InstallShield, Wise package Studio).
* Analytical and Communication skills
* Planning and Co-ordination skills
* Experience with project management
* Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel

Good to Have

* Experience in Symantec Management Platform (SMP) Administration & End user device (desktop/laptop) Patch management.
* Experience in Deployment Management (Applications/Software Packages) using SMP.
* Experience in Symantec ghost - Image Building & Operating systems deployment (OSD) - Win 7, Win 10.
* Experience in Symantec end point protection.
* Experience in SLA bound service delivery environment with diverse/multiple stakeholder environment
* Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
