Infosys is seeking Nutanix/VBlock Administrator for projects in Long Beach, CA .The candidate must be performing administrative and maintenance tasks using the Vblock system.This position will interface with various operations teams to bring quickly and timely resolutions to incidents.

As a Consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options and makes recommendations. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Location for this position is Long Beach, CA. This position may require no travel

Desired Skills & Experience

Required

* Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
* At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology

Preferred

* Atleast 4 years of experience in Virtualization/ Private Cloud/ Public Cloud Administration and Consulting Experience.
* Experience in Designing, building managing Converge infrastructure.
* Hands on experience in major Hypervisors, Server, Storage Network technologies.
* Hands on experience in setting up Private/ Public cloud environment using VMWARE product suite.
* Should have knowledge on Cloud Automation/ Orchestration software.
* Good trouble shooting and analytical skills.
* Must have worked on large production.
* Cloud environments. Experience in Various operating systems (Win/ Linux/ Unix).
* Should have. Storage and Networking Skills.
* Vblock SME - Design, build Manage VBLOCK solutions.
* Having worked on the Vblock 300 and 700 series chasis
* Design, build Manage hyper converged solutions using Nutanix and Acrolpolis
* VMWARE ESXi, vCloud Director, vCloud Automation, Orchestrator.
* Hyper-v, System Center Open Stack Cloud Solution.
* Exposure to OS and Storage.
* Expertise in designing and Implementing Private / Public / Hybrid cloud
* Analytical and Communication skills
* Planning and Co-ordination skills
* Experience with project management
* Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
