Job Description

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consultant, Core Business Operations, System Engineering in Parsippany, NJ and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do

Designing, implementing, and operating solutions for custom-developed systems, platform integration, and application modernization to enable core business capabilities. Participating in various aspects of the full software development lifecycle for software applications, which may including requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Evaluating clients' technology needs, developing customized applications and draft technical and functional design documentation. Developing dashboard wireframes and designing requirements based on discussion with an understanding of technical and visual design considerations. Developing and maintaining project deliverables for clients for all phases of the software development lifecycle to substantially build the system functionalities. Creating technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code, to be used for application development. Performing assessments of existing information systems, and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities. Using specialized knowledge and technical expertise in Pega to address technical architectural concerns of client applications and implement client's software system and also integrate it with any existing Pega or non-Pega systems. Identifying and designing complex business scenarios to be implemented as a part of PRPC (Pega Rules Process Commander) packaged solution for Business Process Modelling. Leading the design and development of enterprise systems making specific determinations about system performance, reliability and scalability. Leading the analysis of system specifications and translate system requirements to tasks for the development team. Applying the knowledge of PEGA class structures and rulesets in the Application development, unit testing of the code developed and performing code review. Conducting system analysis and development, with limited support, to keep information systems current with changing technologies. Conducting thorough code reviews and ensured quality of the code is in accordance with the guidelines and also perform periodic performance analysis. Utilizing execution of client requirements using the BPM tools of PRPC and Customer Process Manager and Care Management Framework. Designing work flows for routing and management of work among the customer service representatives enabling them to resolve the inquiries on time using PEGA Rules Process Commander work flows. Working in RDMS technologies including Oracle, MSSQL, DB2, and MYSQL.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), CIS, MIS or a related field.


* One year of experience in the offered position or a position in a related occupation.


* Must have one year of experience with:
* Leading the design and development of enterprise systems making specific determinations about system performance, reliability and scalability;


* Leading the analysis of system specifications and translate system requirements to tasks for the development team;


* Applying the knowledge of PEGA class structures and rulesets in the Application development, unit testing of the code developed and performing code review;


* Conducting system analysis and development, with limited support, to keep information systems current with changing technologies;


* Conducting thorough code reviews and ensured quality of the code is in accordance with the guidelines and also perform periodic performance analysis;
