SAIC has an opening for an Configuration Manager located in Springfield, VA.
This position is in support of the Department of State (DoS) as a part of the Vanguard 2.2.1 contract.
Job Duties:
* Establish configuration management processes and in the design, development, deployment and administration of a CMDB
* Analysis of IT service management processes that are supported by configuration management
* Create data analysis processes to support audits, reconciliation across network management tools and for reports that support IT business decisions
* Create process flow diagrams and the related documentation
* Requirements development, review and document including development of Use Cases and/or User Stories
* Defining deliverables and completing deliverables against deadlines
* SME on projects involving work across stakeholders
* Training users on CMDB capabilities and interfaces
The Vanguard 2.2.1 program provides transparent, interconnected systems and security support for the Department of State (DOS) Bureau of Information Resource Management (IRM) program.
The IRM program enables the Department of State to successfully carry out its foreign policy mission by providing enterprise architecture design, engineering, operations and maintenance support services for data center services, desktop computers, servers, networks, firewalls, voice and data communications and other unique enterprise applications.
Qualifications
Required Experience:
* Experience with ITSM application (ServiceNow preferred)
* Experience in cross-platform network infrastructure management
* Experience in software asset management
* Microsoft Office suite: Excel, Visio, Access (or another database program)
Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
Desired:
* Entry level or advanced certification on an ITSM tool
* ITIL Foundations certification
