THE OPPORTUNITY

Provide configuration and CDRL data manager support tour efforts at Hanscom Air Force Base, in accordance with the program's Configuration Management Plan and Air Force Configuration Management processes.

THE ROLE

As the Configuration Manager, you will perform the following functions:

* Develop and administer Configuration Management Plans


* Identify data requirements in Statements of Work/Objectives (SOW/SOO), and Performance Work Statements (PWS); provide CM/DM input of program documentation


* Review contractor's program and data work for accuracy, completeness and compliance


* Convene and manage the Configuration Control Board (CCB), Technical Review Board (TRB), and record approved changes and results


* Prepare for and conduct major audits such as Physical and Functional Configuration Audits (PCAs and FCAs)


* Manage configurations of software, including configuration planning, data analysis, and maintenance of configuration documents, including engineering documents, design drawings, engineering change notices


* Control the configuration of IT systems; audit and review IT system configurations


* Identify and maintain all baselines


* Establish workflows to track data work and responses; report the contractor's data delivery status


* Provide configuration management of relevant program artifacts, including configuration identification, change control, and status accounting records and acquisition documentation



REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with the following skill set:

* You have an advanced degree (MA/MS) and 12 years of experience (5 DoD). We will also accept a BA/BS degree and 15 years, or 20 years of work experience with 8 in the DoD


* You demonstrate progressive and dynamic experience in managing configuration of software, engineering documents, design drawings, engineering changes and notices, and planning/conducting design audits


* In-depth understanding of the configuration change control process, role of the Change Control Board, and change control documentation
