Job Description

ActioNet has an upcoming opportunity for a Configuration Manager requiring a Secret clearance located in Vienna, VA. ActioNet is an IT service provider and solutions integrator headquartered in Vienna, VA that works with the Federal Government and Department of Defense.

As a Configuration Manager, you will provide technical expertise and support for Database Management Systems supporting a very large Federal program.

Duties and Responsibilities

* Be responsible for configuration management planning:
* Describe provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting and configuration audits.


* Responsible for configuration planning:
* Identify and maintain the original configuration of requirements documentation, design documentation, software, and related documentation.


* Be responsible for configuration change control:
* Regulate the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software.


* Be Responsible for configuration status accounting:
* Tracks all problems, changes in product documents, software and reports changes, and current configuration.


* Be responsible for configuration audits:
* Supports audits to verify that the as-built software has met requirements of all baselines.
* Supports software quality assurance process audits as required.Provides technical expertise in the use of Database Management Systems (DBMS).



Basic Qualifications:

* Six years of direct experience in configuration management within the past eight years required.
* Associates Degree or higher in a related discipline
* Ten or more years of general experience including at least seven years directly related experience may be substituted for the required degree.
* Must be U.S. citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience as a Configuration Manager supporting an Agile/DevSecOps environment
* Experience supporting customers in the Department of Defense is highly desired.
* DISA domain knowledge a plus
* Comprehensive understanding of IT service offerings and functional areas across all system management lifecycle. Solid understanding of CMMI, ITIL, ISO, Enterprise Architecture, Information Assurance
* Self-disciplined and have a positive attitude
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio
* Excellent strategic thinker and ability to think innovatively
* Excellent time management, written/technical writing, verbal, and presentation skills
