For evaluation purposes, acceptable qualifying experience for all positions must have been in a paid capacity unless noted otherwise in the minimum qualifications for the posted position.

Additionally, 30+ hours per week will be counted as full-time employment and will receive full credit for the amount of time employed. A minimum of 15 through 29 work hours per week will be counted as part-time employment and will receive half credit for the amount of time employed.

Minimum Qualifications

EDUCATION:

* Bachelor's degree in a business, public administration, engineering, mathematics or computer science field.

EXPERIENCE:

* Four (4) years of business operations experience in two (2) or more of the following areas:
* Gathering business requirements
* Industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA, HMIs, PLCs, EDAT
* Wastewater treatment and conveyance
* Developing, testing, configuring and or maintenance of SAP systems
* SAP implementation
* SAP support

EQUIVALENCIES:

* High school or GED plus eight (8) years of stated experience will meet the education and experience requirements.
* An associate's degree in any field plus six (6) years of stated experience will meet the education and experience requirements.
* A bachelor's degree or higher in a non-specified field plus six (6) years of stated experience will meet the education and experience requirements.
* A master's degree or higher in a specified field plus two (2) years of stated experience will meet the education and experience requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITY(IES):

* Knowledge of utility and enterprise billing processes, customer information systems, customer service practices, financial analysis and/or training delivery.
* Knowledge of SAP functional areas: Customer Service (CS), FICA, FICO, IS-U billing
* Effective oral and written communication skills.
* MS Office Suite (or similar) software skills.
* Ability to coordinate support services and system changes/enhancements.
* Ability to understand and communicate business needs and define requirements for projects.
* Ability to provide conceptual and detailed designs to meet business needs.

PREFERENCE(S):

* Expert knowledge/understanding of Business Process and Industry Best Practices in SAP Materials Management (MM) and/or Plant Maintenance (PM), Sales & Distribution (SD), etc.
* Experience in Visio is a plus.
* Experience with SAP Meter-to-Cash functionalities, utility billing processes.

Dallas Water Utilities- Business Consulting: Should have experience in gathering business requirements, documenting specifications for development of custom programs, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, executing functional/technical testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions.
