Job Description

Overview

The intern will work in a supporting role within the DWL team to analyze Next-Gen Sequencing data derived from DNA-Encoded Library screening, and improve and/or develop statistical models for data pre-processing and anlayses, and optimize overall data instructure and analytical workflow in support of DEL campaign.

Responsibilities

Next-gen sequencing data analysis; data analysis pipeline/platform development.

Communicate methodologies and analysis results to project teams.

Deep knowledge of genome, transcriptome, and/or proteome techniques.

Experience in statistical analysis in the areas mentioned above.

Solid understanding of bio-statistical theory, methodology and experiment design.

Fluency in R, Python, Perl, or other scripting language; familiarily with programming and softwares such as SAS and Spotfire;

Familiarity with cloud computing, database architecture;

Problem Solving:

* Self-motivated, with proven track record of independent hypothesis generation and problem-solving.
* Ability to tackle problems in a fast-paced teamwork environment

Communication Skills:

* Able to communicate to experts in the field as well as scientists in other disciplines who may not be familiar with statistics theories

Qualifications

MS or PhD in bioinformatics, cheminformatics, biochemistry, chemistry, or other related fields.
