Description:This position supports the national security of the United States.

Lockheed Martin's Aeronautics in Palmdale CA, home of the Skunk Works, is looking for an energetic Security Representative within the Security & Emergency Services (SES) organization.

The primary mission of the SES organization is to mitigate risk and promote the safety and security of company personnel and assets, and to ensure compliance with U.S. government and other customer security requirements in support of U.S. national security interests.

The Security Representative will support the Government Compliance Team and lead an exciting initiative to implement cost effective and value-added security solutions that fortify our nation's emerging technologies through duties.

MUST BE A US CITIZEN - This position is located in a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience evaluating Program Security Guides and Government Directives to include at least one of the following: NISPOM, ICD, DoD SAP Manuals, and JSIG guides.

Experience in either DoD Collateral Program, Special Access Program, Personnel Security, Physical Security, and/to Security Education & Training.

Desired Skills:

Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college.

Possess a Security Clearance, current within the past 5 years or be able attain a clearance.

Be self-driven and results-oriented, capable of effectively working multiple tasks concurrently and across an ambiguous and uncertain landscape.

Be highly organized and have very advanced oral and written communication skills, as well as working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Experience interacting with US Government Security Oversight officials.
