The successful incumbent will be responsible for the day-to-day monitoring, escalation, communications of upgrades major incidents for operating systems, servers and associated infrastructure in a large, complex, geographically dispersed multiple location environments. Under limited supervision, performs complex communications, root cause analysis studies and after action reports for reporting over all IT systems availability. Schedules and communicate installations and upgrades in accordance with established IT policies and procedures. Assists the technical staff in monitoring and tuning the systems to achieve optimum performance levels. Ensures server data integrity by evaluating, implementing and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions of varying complexities. Conducts hardware and software audits of servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies and configuration guidelines.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

1+ years minimum experience in an enterprise server environment with both administration and problem resolution of Microsoft Windows Server 200312008/2012, required 1+ years minimum working with VMware or equivalent virtual products. Windows Server 2003/2008/2012. DHCP/DNS/WINS/Citrix/Active Directory management expertise required.

Ability to plan, organize and document complex system design activities and to configure systems to be consistent with institutional policies/procedures; Must be able to communicate technical/complex information both verbally and in writing; Ability to establish and maintain cooperation, understanding, trust and credibility; Willing and competent in performing multiple tasks concurrently and responding to emergency situations effectively.

Education:

Bachelor's degree or 4 years equivalent work experience.
