Job Description

The Collaboration and Productivity team at Apple is seeking a proven product engineer to plan, manage and deliver tools, systems, environments and engineering driven code signing products. The key objective is to increase efficiency and effectiveness of our internal developer community while providing the reliable tools needed to deploy our internal applications securely. This new position will join the Collaboration Services team. As the product engineer for the code signing services, you will play a meaningful role in building and delivering internal business critical apps to all of Apple. You will bridge the gap between developers and their customers through our communication team. You are responsible for the evaluation and deployment of tools and strategies to enable access to code signing that is future proof, easy-to-use, and can be relied on by teams across the organization.

4+ years of hands-on experience in building tools and products in production environments 2+ years of product management and/or related program ownership 2+ years of experience, knowledge and understanding of macOS and iOS development Strong prioritization and project management skills, including timely and dedicated communication of timelines, status, and critical issues Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, including the ability to convey complex requirements in a clear, concise, and credible manner Extreme attention to detail and ability to self-audit work Significant hands-on experience and fluency with Xcode and code signing knowledge Knowledge of Kubernetes like application container technologies Technical experience with tools, methodologies and languages, such as: Tools: Python, MongoDB, Apache and Flask Technologies: Load Balancing, Restful API building, and Web Security Frameworks/Binaries: sparkle, app distribution formats, dmg, pkg, ipa, codesign, and installer package building Full product lifecycle management experience, including user acceptance testing, launch, and end of life processes

* Meet frequently with internal developers, project managers to develop a keen understanding of their requirements and needs for the service • Identify, evaluate and recommend tools and environments to enable more developers to make use of our platform, these evaluations should lead to better integrations • Partner with cross-functional teams developing strategy, vision, and execution plan, including articulating the design and usability of tools • Actively monitor and research changes and advances in macOS and iOS development especially as it relates to code signing in collaboration with partners at Apple
