Cloud Engineer SECURITY SCRUB REQUIRED Short Description:Customer has an immediate need for a Subject Matter Expert Cloud Network Engineer. Primary focus of this job is to design and implement an enterprise level network that will support the both bare=metal and cloud hosting environments. Additional requirements for candidate may include design and implementation of network security devices. In-depth understanding and experience will be required for support and design across multiple networking vendors and protocols, firewall technologies and strong cloud technology background. Candidate will be asked to define requirements and specifications and passionate about implementation and solving technical issues. Self-starter, quick learner and proven hands on leader.

Mandatory Skills:• Competencies with Cloud Computing and Network telecommunications with a diverse background in routing and switching, use of load balancers and firewalls• Engineering experience with LAN/WAN and cloud infrastructures• Experience with multiple routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP and Gateway redundancy protocols. • Documented hands on experience with implementation and troubleshooting of VLAN's, STP, VTP, Multicast• Configuration and implementation experience with security devices (Firewalls, ACL's, IPsec. Tunnels and Crypto• Hands on experience with vendor hardware and familiarity with Cisco and Juniper product line. • Working knowledge of software defined network and application centric infrastructure. • Excellent understanding of Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure)• Experience with network management tools and Network Monitoring

Desired Skills: • Ability to collaborate with multiple IT disciplines to include but not limited to Network, Storage, Middleware and Application interfaces• On the job experience with Cisco ASA, McAfee and G2• Understanding of Network Security Technologies. • Strong background designing, implementing and configuring in a cloud

ASA's, NetScaler, IDS/IPS, experience with multiple vendors supporting layer 2 and 3 routing and switching, Advance use of routing protocols.

Desired Certifications: AWS Certified Advanced Networking, CCNA, CCNP

Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing computer systems
