AIS is seeking Secret Cleared Cloud Infrastructure Consultants in Austin, Texas to support a new federal client! This is an opportunity to utilize your systems engineering expertise by assisting with moving on-premise traditional infrastructure solutions to the cloud for our client in Austin, Texas. An active DoD Secret clearance is required along with the ability to occasional travel to Washington, DC.

Help Us Deliver Successful Projects!

* Utilize knowledge of systems architecture to create a strong core for application development.
* Draw on at least four years of system administration experience to assist with the core infrastructure for both internal projects and external projects for our clients.
* Collaborate with members of the development team and project managers to deliver solutions that surpass client expectations.
* Apply knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, LAN/WAN, IP addresses, and administration to complete a variety of projects.
* Utilize consulting and documentation skills to successfully complete project-based work.
* Use knowledge of servers, PC's, and networks to ensure the environment works correctly.
* Implement AIS cloud infrastructure solution offerings based on public cloud, private cloud, and hybrid customer environments.
* Assist with documentation to ensure they can be continued into the future.

Profile of Success:

* Utilize Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and 4-8 years of experience in systems engineering to design platforms to support developers.
* Use in-depth experience with networks, systems, and client-facing skills to create innovative business solutions.
* Experience with the Cloud, Windows/SQL Server, Application Support, PowerShell scripting, and virtualization.
* The desire to gain or use extra-curricular certifications as part of ongoing professional growth.
* Must be well versed on general infrastructure technology and have an understanding of public and private cloud concepts such as SaaS, PaaS, DaaS, and IaaS.
* Maintain a DoD security clearance to gain access to client sites and networks.
* Open to occasional nationwide travel to work onsite with clients as needed.

Other Desirable Skills:

* Acquired Microsoft certifications, especially MCSE
* Some project management experience
* Experience with disaster recovery efforts for IT

Client Site Locations: Austin, Texas

Clearance and Background Check Requirement: Ability to meet AIS, customer and/or government security screening/badging requirements are required for this role. Failure to maintain or obtain the appropriate clearance, customer screening, badging and/or background check requirements may result in revocation of an offer or employment action up to and including termination. The successful candidate must be eligible for and maintain a U.S. Government Secret/Top Secret Clearance.
