THIS POSITION REQUIRES AN ACTIVE Top Secret SCI

Boeing Intelligence & Analytics ("BI&A"), a subsidiary to The Boeing Company, is seeking a Cloud Operations Lead to join their top-tier team.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

* Lead the deployment and operation of C2S Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) , RDS, EMR, LAMBDA, VPC, and S3
* Report on the health of these services to government leadership.
* Work with development teams to improve operational performance.
* Scale our services: lead the planning, hardware selection, costing, and provisioning of new capacity.
* Define roadmap for our services - including brand new ones - in collaboration with our product managers, other development and engineering managers, and engineers.
* Work with operations team to secure and patch all operational servers and services as required.
* Proactively react to Nagios alerts to remediate issues.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

* 10+ years' experience working as a system administrator


* Experience installing and configuring web and application servers


* Experience with cloud infrastructure and tools (Amazon Web Services: EC2, S3, RDS)


* Comfortable working on the command line


* Experience with scripting (bash, Python, Perl, etc)



DESIRED EXPERIENCE

* Orchestration experience with SALT is a Plus!


* Experience with Atlassian Suite of tools (Jira, Confluence, etc)
