Title: Cloud Development Engineer

Location: Atlanta, St. Louis, Dallas, or Chicago

Industry: Accounting

* Create templates and code to automate solution delivery into public and private cloud for a wide range of technologies and customers
* Develop tests to ensure code quality as solution is promoted between environments
* Participate in solution discovery and design of application deployments into public and private clouds
* Proactively works with the team to identify technical problems, perform root cause analysis, formulate solutions and execute on the plan
* Able to estimate scope and timelines, partners with other teams to drive solutions over the line
* Manage competing priorities in a fast moving enterprise and thrive in a complex environment
* Provides third tier support for operations and support teams

Skills

* Minimum 5 years of experience in IT operations/administration including datacenter and cloud based deployments
* In depth knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, Google)
* Minimum of 3 years managing infrastructure as code with CloudFormation, ARM (Azure Resource Manager), Ansible, SaltStack, Chef, Puppet, or similar
* Proficiency using git to store and deploy code
* Practical experience in at least one scripting language (Python, Powershell, Ruby, etc)
* Experience working with Jenkins, Octopus, GitLab or similar CI/CD platforms
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Working knowledge of Windows and Linux (CentOS/RHEL) systems administration
* Proficiency creating documentation for both internal teams and customer deliverables
* A firm understanding of ITIL practices including Change Management and Incident Management
* Familiarity with Waterfall and Agile methodologies (SCRUM, XP, Kanban)
* Exposure working in a highly regulated environment a plus
