Cloud Customer Certification Lab Validation Engineer

This position is responsible for supporting Network Simulation testing for CCCL accounts in several solution areas utilizing Juniper and limited third-party products. The individual must have thorough knowledge of the most popular test equipment vendors and be able to write and execute test plans that map to strengths of the Juniper products and solutions they support. Advanced troubleshooting skills, ability to write scripts are a must. Other duties may involve automating all or part of test plans. Other tasks may involve customer demonstrations, technical presentations, and technical documentation. In addition the individual must be able to coordinate testing schedules and priorities as well as to work as a member of the RE/SE teams during all phases of testing. Provide timely feedback to management as well as stake holders on test progress and impediments. Additional responsibilities are listed below.

* Develop CCCL test configurations based on test plans submitted by account teams.
* Plan, Design and Execute a written test plan based on requirements gathered from the customer and the account teams.
* Maintain a repository of CCCL test data: test plans, test results, test data and scripts written for automation on appropriate documentation site.
* Maintain the ability to present any canned demonstrations offered in the supported Juniper technology area.

Job Specifics:

Located in Westford Juniper facility you will be working with a team of engineers at your desk as well as in the lab working on customer testing projects.

Experience:

Ideal candidate will have with 8-10 year experience in the networking industry or 15 years equivalent work experience in a high tech environment. Experience in coordinating and working as part of teams and virtual team. Experience creating and executing test plans as well as experience with 3rd party test gear such as IXIA or Spirent. Experience giving technical presentations to customers and other engineers. BS/MS in engineering/computer science/telecommunications or equivalent experience.

Required Skills:

* Routing protocol knowledge such as: BGP, MPLS, OSPF, Multicast and Layer 2 technologies.
* VMWare and Virtualization skills.
* Proficiency in one or more of the following languages and scripting languages:

C, C++, Perl, Tcl, C-shell, Python, Java Script. Ansible and ROBOT a plus.
