Cloud Architect / Cloud Engineering Strategy

Description:

Work with the most innovative and cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive strategies that enable Cloud and Infrastructure transformations. Teamwork is crucial as teams are composed of a diverse group of specialists across multiple cloud disciplines and helping to drive towards a successful outcome.

5 or more years of experience in Cloud solutions (IaaS/ PaaS/ SaaS) Strategy and Implementation for mid or large size organizations (this includes private/public Clouds - on AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or VMWare)

Relevant experience to enable selection criteria for cloud providers and application suitability assessments including detailed cloud architecture design for high availability

Strong Client Relationship and team building Skills

Ability to work with the Business and IT leadership

Experience in working with Senior leadership team to design technology and process landscape and develop overall cloud solution strategy

Ability to take major ownership in orchestrating client workshops and facilitate customer interactive sessions on cloud operating models, cloud business value, DevOps processes, and application/infrastructure modernization

Excellent articulation, communication and strong inter personal skills

Experience in supporting migration of application workloads to cloud

Proven ability towards driving business process improvement initiatives

Preferred Experience:

Experience with designing, implementing, or operating IT systems on leading commercial Cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and Google

Experience with large and complex IT systems in an enterprise environment using virtualization or private Cloud technologies, including VMware and Pivotal Cloud Foundry

Experience with modern development and testing techniques such as continuous delivery and continuous integration

A background in software development and experience in configuration management (tools like Ansible)
