The Cloud Architect role will be responsible for guiding our clients to wide scale cloud adoption. A successful candidate is expected to be a subject matter expert for Cloud (AWS, Azure, Oracle, etc) at the client. The Cloud Architect will work closely with the matrixed teams at our customers, helping plan and facilitate the underlying technical capabilities required for a successful cloud migration. The Cloud Architect will also be familiar with the standards, policies, and procedures required for successful cloud capabilities at large organizations.

Key Areas of Responsibility and Accountability:

* Support large scale enterprise and service providers with Cloud Enablement programs, developing the architecture, standards, and procedures for successfully integration of Cloud Services.
* Understand and guide client stakeholders through cloud adoption for Configuration management, asset management, security management, and general cloud platform requirements and capabilities.
* Implement private and public cloud environments including computer, storage, database, networking, security, etc (SaaS, IaaS, SaaS, etc).
* Share working knowledge of multi-cloud designs (AWS, Google, Azure, Oracle, etc), assisting stakeholders migrating to cloud
* Provide guidance to clients on AWS and Azure services and offerings and how those fit into the client environment.
* Engage with internal client teams to align capabilities with business requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

* 8 - 10 years of current experience in cloud services, with specific demonstrable experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and/or Oracle Cloud.
* 10+ years general IT infrastructure in large enterprise or service provider enviroments
* 5+ years consulting experience
* Ability to troubleshoot core software platform and infrastructure components
* Experience writing documentation, procedures and best practices in technical environments
* Self-motivated and self-educating, yet willing and able to work collaboratively with both customers and fellow team members

Location: Herndon VA, St. Louis MO, Bloomfield CT

Travel: 25%

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent experience/ combination of education and experience.
