Citrix Systems Administrator (Top Secret clearance required)

Job Description

DEI has a new CITRIX System Administrator opportunity at Ft Belvoir, VA in support of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA). The ideal candidate identifies requirements of Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop systems, as directed, by interacting with customer, IT infrastructure teams, and IA/Cybersecuriy teams. They will support the design reviews and provides recommendations to remediates existing design challenges or constraints in a timely manner with no disruption to existing systems or compromise of security. As member of the Operation Support Group, the candidate perform site planning and design for product implementation across three security domains. The candidate will configure, optimize, and troubleshoot CITRIX hardware and software for the every-changing agency IT/mission requirements.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Implement DoD mandated security configurations for CITRIX environments
* Installing and maintaining security patches on CITRIX servers
* Create, deploy and maintain CITRIX Desktop Images
* Support the deployment of ESXi hosts and management of virtual machines with VServer via the Vsphere client
* Support agency SAN environment when dealing CITRX storage
* Support the implementation/ maintenance of enterprise level services including Microsoft DNS, DHCP, and Active

BASIC REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Active Security+
* Active Citrix Certified Expert - Virtualization (CCE - V)
* Active TS/SCI
* Demonstrated ability to create, deploy and maintain CITRIX Desktop Images
* Experience in installing and maintaining security patches on CITRIX servers per DoD and IC guidance
* Experience in building ESXi hosts and managing virtual machines with VServer via the Vsphere client
* Ability to work effectively independently as well as within a team environment
* Excellent Communication skills
* Demonstrated a strong work ethic and ability and willingness to take on new challenges

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Citrix Certified Professional-Virtualization (CCP - V) or Citrix Certified Associate-Virtualization (CCA - V)
* Demonstrated VM View experience
* Solid foundation in SAN technology
* VMWare Experience with a VMware Certified Professional (VCP 5 ) certification
* Ability to lead the implementation/maintenance of enterprise level services including Microsoft DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory; create, edit, and apply GPOs
