ASRC Federal Research and Technology Solutions' focus is on technical and complex, mission-oriented services with contracts supporting federal government agencies. Our team of scientists and professional management personnel allows us to bring real-world experience to meet the growing demand for solutions to some of the most complex problems in aviation, IT management, aviation, and Earth and space sciences. We are seeking a Cisco Unified Communications Specialist to support our customer in Sterling, VA.

Must be a US Citizen to meet contract requirements.

Summary:

The Cisco Unified Communications (UC) Specialist will focus on IVR and call routing applications, helping to determine organizational strategic needs and developing creative and innovative functional requirements. Cisco UC Specialist will deliver clean and elegant working solutions for the IVR and speech recognition infrastructure. Cisco UC Specialist will also design, implement, and maintain call flows directing incoming calls to multiple groups within the call centers, utilizing dynamic date driven skills-based routing.

Responsibilities:

* Meet with various departments to determine strategic telephony needs.
* Develop IVR and call routing applications.
* Maintain proper documentation of systems configurations.
* Keep abreast of current and new technology advances.
* Assist in departmental projects.
* Review reports and logs for problems and identify appropriate solutions.
* Provide backup to other network engineers maintain hardware and software.
* Maintain the confidentiality of information, and adhere to compliance and security considerations.
* Share in providing on-call technical support after hours and on weekends as needed.

Requirements:

* In-depth knowledge and understanding of call centers and Cisco Unified Communication solutions.
* Administration of Linux and Windows Operating systems as it relates to UC architecture.
* Knowledge of grammar design and development.
* Strong analytical, reasoning, organization, time management and problem solving skills. Ability to meet strict deadlines.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills. English language fluency required.
* Ability to interact effectively with executives, customers, vendors and department staff.
* Able to work independently or in a group environment.
* Occasional lifting and/or carrying of 20 lbs. or more.
* Must be a US Citizenship in order to obtain and maintain a government issued security clearance.

Education/ Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with 10+ years of related experience.
* 5+ years of direct Universal Communication/IVR development experience.
* Cisco CCNP Voice certification preferred.
* Cisco UCCE or UCCX and CUCM solutions.
* Nuance voice solution.
