Job Description

Position Summary:

The Gemini Companies is looking for an experienced C# .Net Developer to join its team in Hauppauge, NY. This position will be responsible for software development, implementing and maintaining new application features as well as supporting legacy applications. The Developer will collaborate with functional areas of the business to gather and refine process requirements, work with technical business analysts to translate these requirements into logical plans for application builds, and develop applications and deploy for business use. They will participate in all stages from requirement gathering through support and maintenance.

Job Responsibilities:

* Participate in requirements gathering sessions
* Participate in the design and development of applications based on business requirements
* Provide estimates for task completion time
* Provide Support for Applications that have been deployed to Production
* Application maintenance
* Provide User-Training documentation

Skills Required:

* C# (Advanced)
* Familiarity with the .NET framework
* Angular
* Linq
* DI - IOC
* MVC - Web API's
* Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (GIT, SVN, etc.)
* TDD

Job Requirements:

* 5-7 years experience
* Strong understanding of programming theory
* Experience planning and successfully executing complex development projects
* Team City, Jira, Azure all pluses
