C# JavaScript Angular Software Engineer

Job Description

Forward Slope (FSI) is seeking software engineers with five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in .NET development who have a track record authoring high-quality software and enjoy working in a truly team-oriented environment. FSI is seeking qualified candidates to work with the latest tools and technologies using C#, .NET, JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, Angular, Git, Oracle, IIS, and SharePoint Server. In this role you will design and develop web client and C# software for a highly available Navy enterprise resource planning system. You'll work as part of a talented and collaborative team following a Scrum-oriented agile development methodology. Ideal candidates are self-disciplined, motivated and want to make a difference. Candidates with leadership skills will be rewarded with promotion opportunities. This position is located in San Diego, CA.

Key Responsibilities / Performance Requirements

* Design, develop, document, author and integrate software in a large enterprise application
* Implement unit tests and automated integration tests
* Deploy and test software on a continuous integration environment
* Understand software refactoring principles and apply them to existing software
* Quickly acquire knowledge of the business domain and the terminology and data models in use
* Work within an Agile development process

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science or equivalent
* Three (3) to five (5) years developing Web applications using JavaScript, Angular and REST services
* Three (3) to five (5) years developing Web services using C#
* Five (5) to seven (7) years working in an agile development environment unit testing methods
* Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience with relational databases

Highly Desired Qualifications

* JavaScript
* Angular or AngularJS
* C# or other .NET languages
* RESTful services experience
* Oracle 11g, 12c, SQL Server or other relational database experience
* Unit test and Coded UI testing
* Understand common design patterns and how to implement them
* Leadership abilities, willing to assist and mentor lesser experienced engineers
* Solid understanding of software development processes and OOAD
* Organized, detail oriented documentation skills
