JOB SUMMARY

One of the key activities of S&C's Information Technology organization is Business Systems. Under the Business Systems umbrella are Engineering Systems, Systems Development, and Cloud Systems. The Business Systems Coordinator will provide support, development, and consultation services to the users of S&C's design, engineering, manufacturing, and cloud-based systems, focusing on the Engineering Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Oracle E-Business technologies. For business-critical engineering, design, manufacturing, and sales processes, the Business Systems Coordinator will also implement supporting computer technologies for the best business results: improved quality, reduced cycle times and decreased costs.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

* Identifying business critical engineering, design, and manufacturing processes.
* Providing end-user support services that include troubleshooting, investigating and resolving software and system usage problems; providing small-group training sessions on the use of available business systems, including Oracle, PLM and product configurators.
* Providing technology-centric engineering/technical consultation services to S&C's product development and maintenance organizations.
* Developing customized software components and documenting their use; maintaining the software and updating related documentation as appropriate.
* Communicating new methods, applications, procedures and standards through appropriate avenues, including but not limited to, the Intranet, memos, and user meetings.
* Developing relationships with technology suppliers to influence the direction of products and services based on S&C's Business Systems requirements.

To select this job as one of interest to you, at a minimum, you must have the following:

* Four-year engineering, computer science, or other technical degree, or equivalent.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Knowledge of design, engineering, manufacturing, and programming concepts and methods.
* Ability to prioritize workload to complete multiple projects and meet deadlines.
* Ability to map processes and identify critical paths and tasks.
* Ability to provide technical and analytical guidance to a project team.
* Demonstrate good analytical skills and the initiative to remain current with the S&C's core engineering and manufacturing systems and supporting infrastructure features and technologies.
* Understanding of the project management process and responsibilities, as a project participant.
* Ability to prioritize workload to complete multiple projects and meet deadlines.
* Demonstrated ability to grasp how technical issues impact business.
* Energetic and positive attitude.
