We are currently seeking a Business Systems Analyst-Quality to join our Corporate Quality team in either Portage, MI or Allendale, NJ.

What you will do

As the Business Systems Analyst-Quality, you will be responsible for helping design and support enterprise wide business intelligence applications for Corporate Regulatory Affairs/Quality Assurance. You will work with enterprise wide business and Regulatory Affairs/Quality Assurance senior management to understand and prioritize data and information requirements. Support the development of quality metrics. Assist in developing policies and procedures for the Corporate Regulatory Affairs/Quality Assurance business intelligence tools and systems.

As you develop in your role, you will help solve complex technical problems. Help coach and train customers in the use of business intelligence tools to enhance business decision-making capability. Research new technology and develops business cases to support enterprise wide business intelligence solutions for Corporate Regulatory Affairs/Quality Assurance.

* Support the development and operation of BI solutions that enable fact-based decision making, ad-hoc analysis, and insight generation.
* Work with global SME teams in the design, development, and implementation of BI solutions.
* Collaborate with process owners and global users to identify needs and opportunities for improved data visualization and use.
* Collaborate with data owners to improve data quality and streamline data preparation.
* Support the design of databases and data warehouses to ensure BI solution compatibility.
* Support data management activities and data governance as needed
* Support user training and training materials, and provide technical support as needed.
* Support best practices implementation and documentation.
* Perform data exploration on source data using BI tools.
* Produce visualizations to translate data into useful insights.
* Collate data from multiple sources and transform data into clear and concise reporting formats.
* Build, manage and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations as needed.
* Ensure solutions are scalable and flexible to support growing user needs.
* Help develop automated solutions for dashboard and report generation.
* Provide technical expertise in data cleansing, data preparation, and performance monitoring.
* Troubleshoot BI software, systems, and tools as needed.
* Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.

What you need

* A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required.
* Previous work experience with data, analytics, statistics, and/or BI software, systems, or tools required
* Experience with R, Python, SAS or SQL required.
* Experience with Tableau or Microsoft Power BI strongly preferred.
* Understanding of databases and data warehouses preferred.
* Analytical, conceptual, critical thinking skills, and problem-solving abilities with ability to search beyond the initial results required.
* Experience with data verification/validation preferred.
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills required.
* Ability to be self-directed, self-motivated, and able to prioritize and resolve competing demands and priorities required.
* Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment preferred.
* Ability to meet customer requirements while managing overall expectations required.
