Overview

The Business Systems Analyst, HRIS will play an active and critical role in supporting Suffolk Construction's integrated HR technology platform. The Business Systems Analyst will focus on user support and troubleshooting, system configuration, data integrity, testing system changes, writing and developing reports and queries, analyzing data, and supporting enhancements, implementations, upgrades and patches. This role will partner with senior leaders of our team and serve as a liaison with stakeholders across the organization to provide innovative and integrated human resource system solutions, operational support and data analysis. Key systems to support include Oracle, iCims & ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

* Responsible for providing production support for iCIMS & ServiceNow
* Partner effectively with People & Culture Teams on developing business requirements. This includes the ability to speak to technical aspects of HR systems when working with team members through the detailed design phase to ensure proper interpretation of business requirements.
* Assist with creation of functional test plans, user acceptance test cases/scenarios, training documents and production rollout.
* Communicate and present process changes, enhancements and modifications to management, peers, staff and other employees so that issues and solutions are understood.
* Oversee system maintenance and assist in the review, testing and implementation of system upgrades or patches.
* Works closely with external vendors and service providers to insure the efficient, accurate and timely exchange of information.
* Determine best practices on how to leverage the iCIMS tool to create a seamless candidate/employee experience
* Ensure data integrity and accuracy of employee information across HRIS systems.
* Create and maintain HRIS related training documentation for end users
* Design and build queries, reports and dashboards to support the organization.
* Support HRIS/IT initiatives as needed
* Keep current on HRIS technology trends

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
* Minimum of 4-7 years of progressive HRIS experience
* Strong organizational and project management skills
* Must be a problem solver able to provide analysis in understanding root causes and always looking to improve systems and or processes
* Experience with designing and developing HR related queries, reports, dashboards
* Broad knowledge of on-premise and cloud-based (SaaS) tools, such as Oracle EBS, iCIMS, other HCM technology, as well as strong knowledge of functional HR practices
* iCims experience is preferred, will also consider prior experience working in other HR/Talent systems (Taleo, Greenhouse, Kenexa, Workday, etc.)
* Excellent interpersonal, influence, customer service, and collaboration skills required.
* Microsoft Office suite, particularly with Microsoft Excel.
* Experience with ServiceNow also a plus

Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stands; walk; and reach with arms and/or hands. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will spend their time in an office environment with a quiet to moderate noise level. Job site walking.
