Role

This position will consult, analyze, and deliver on moderate to complex Business Systems Analysis assignments and projects aligned to Group Protection IT's Customer Installation and Reporting area. S/he will act as a resource to applicable internal and external stakeholders. S/he will also consult and collaborate with business stakeholders to define and validate more complex information technology solutions that meet the needs, goals and objectives for her/his assigned area(s) of responsibility. S/he will develop business client testing strategies and support testing efforts. S/he will lead and/or participate in calls with external stakeholders to elicit business needs.

Responsibilities

Creates moderate to complex business requirements.
* Develops business client testing strategies, plans test cases and conditions using HP ALM or similar tools, tests and monitors testing efforts.
* Communicates with internal stakeholders.
* Communicates with external customers, leads and/or participates in calls to elicit requirements and drive testing efforts.
* Identifies and recommends process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
* Consults and acts as a resource to appropriate internal/external stakeholders to assess and deliver technical solutions which meet business requirements which may integrate process, business rules, and business data with technology.
* Escalates more complex issues/conflicts to management as needed.
* Serves as a mentor and shares knowledge with junior team members.
* Provides a more complex understanding of the business usage of information technology (IT) to add value to the customer.
* Performs testing as needed.
* Queries data as needed.



Education

*

4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (Minimum Required)



Experience

*

2-4+ Years experience in business systems analysis that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position (Required)
* 2-4+ Years experience in Insurance or Finance technology (preferred)
* 2-4+ Years experience with reporting, data, querying tools (strongly preferred)
