NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Business Systems Advisor to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

Overview:

A successful candidate will have experience with system integration projects, working with large data sets, and expertise in various data analysis techniques will provide a solid foundation for success in this role. Additionally, experience in, or working knowledge of, the Healthcare Revenue Cycle business and the technologies that support it would be a plus. The Business Systems Advisor is tasked with clearly defining project scope, performing gap analysis between systems, writing functional requirements documents, and providing support to the development and testing teams throughout the various phases of the project

* Leads requirements gathering sessions with client business and technical resources
* Documents and manages requirements to support the development process throughout project life cycle
* Creates requirements documents, use cases, data crosswalks, and conceptual diagrams to communicate requirements to the customer
* Applies analytical skills to evaluate and interpret complex situations/problems using multiple sources of information (qualitative and quantitative)
* Performs gap analysis between data required and data provided by the client
* Presents problem analysis and recommended solutions in a clear, concise, and logical manner
* Works with Product Owner and Scrum Master to ensure requirements are delivered within the agreed upon timeframes
* Participate in all Sprint related activities (Scrum, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, etc.)

Basic Qualifications:

* Minimum 3 years of experience working as part of a software development team
* Minimum 3 years of experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and management techniques with a focus on use cases and a use case-based approach
* Minimum 3 years of experience working with databases such as Microsoft Access and Microsoft SQL Server
* Excellent written, verbal, and technical communication skills
* Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or relevant experience, or a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minimum of 4 years of experience
* On-site position in Plano, TX. Minimal travel will be expected for this role

Nice to Have:

* Healthcare Revenue Cycle business or technology Experience
* System to system integration experience with Patient Accounting Systems such as Meditech, Epic, McKesson STAR, etc.
* Experience with HL7, EDI, or similar standard messaging formats
* Some experience or knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) processes
* Ability to manage time and priorities in a complex environment
* Experience building relationships with clients and using persuasive techniques to influence solutions
* Proficient in obtaining new information from technical and non-technical users
