Business Process Engineer/Facilitator

Location: Lake Forest, IL

Job Requirements:

The candidate will assist in leading the efforts in assessing needs and establishing processes and procedures for overall system change control and configuration management. Prior experience in facilitating requirements, consensus building and translating to functional specifications and design requirements is a necessity. Must have over seven years of the following requirements: Extensive facilitation experience of senior business personnel, with proven cases of driving these personnel toward the consensus of solutions. Senior management presentation skills. Business process re-engineering design and implementation skills. Experience in leading the transformation of business process requirements into the design and development of system applications. Proven systems development life cycle experience from Planning through Analysis, Design, Implementation, Conversion and Support. Strong team building expertise to manage cross-divisional teams. Strong project scope management skills.

Competencies:

Senior management/executive management experience. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Executive presence and presentation capability. 12 or more years in IT. Strong business background. Project management skills. SDLC.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree minimum. Advanced knowledge and understanding of IT concepts.

Role:

* Design, develop, test, and maintain highly scalable data management systems
* Align architecture with business requirements and ensure systems meet industry standards
* Optimize data retrieval
* Understand how to develop dashboards, reports and other visualizations for End Users
* Understand business goals & objectives
* Collaborate with data scientists & data analysts to understand data and research new uses for data
* Develop data set processes for data modeling, mining and production
* Recommend ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality
* Use large data sets to address business issues
* Deploy sophisticated analytics programs, machine learning and statistical methods
* Provide clean, usable data to whomever may require it
* Write and execute reusable test plans for Unit, Integration, and User Acceptance Testing

Call Notes:

Should be able to develop and design test set up data process, track transfers load, perform data modeling able to write clean and usable test plans to whomever may require it.

Need experience in hive,

Previous experience in sequel based technologies and data mining tools.

Experience using Apache Spark, Amazon web services, etc.

Any kind of data engineer certificates are highly preferred

Need an experienced Data Engineer, at least 3yrs and up.

Bachelor's Degree required
