Job Description

Amazon Mobile is one of the fastest-growing and strategic new business areas inside Amazon. We are looking for a talented Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer who is passionate about using data to drive crucial business decisions regarding our activity in the mobile ecosystem. This role will focus on building world class processes around designing, collecting, organizing and presenting data to analyze our mobile site/application traffic, understand customer behavior, feature performance and accurately calculate ROI across multiple marketing and Business Development channels. As a BI Engineer working on the analytics platform, you will be developing and supporting the analytic technologies to give our internal customers flexible and structured access to data that is timely, accurate and actionable.

A successful candidate knows and loves working with BI tools, is comfortable accessing and working with data from multiple sources, and can partner with internal stakeholders to help drive the business.

Responsibilities

* Collect, analyze and present actionable data to drive marketing, operations, business development and product management decisions at a senior level
* Understand high-level business objectives and continually align work with those objectives to meet needs of business
* Ensuring data accuracy by validating data for new and existing tools. Learn and understand a broad range of Amazon's data resources and know how, when, and which to use and which not to use
* Supporting cross-functional teams on the day-to-day execution of projects and initiatives.
* Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis; data integrity, test design, analysis, validation and documentation
* Write high quality code to retrieve and analyze data.
* Learn and understand a broad range of Amazon's data resources and know when, how and which to use and which not to use
