About the job

As a BI Architect you are ensuring that the BI platforms are in accordance to best practice and that the strategic direction is in line with the BI target architecture. Together with other architects specializing in different areas of Group Data Warehouse (GDW), Swedish Data Warehouse (SDW), Operational Data Lake (ODL), Data Discovery Platform (DDP) and Information Management (IM) you will help coordinate architectural processes in order to secure a well-working end-to-end architecture that will provide a solid foundation for future BI services. You will manage architectural issues and problems by identifying needed architectural changes and explaining and communicating these changes in an understandable way to management and other stakeholders supporting the value stream. You will also be one of the contact points for the BI Architecture, to which you will provide support and guidance in solution and design.

What you need to succeed

* A relevant academic degree and at least 10 years of experience in BI/DW architecture related roles
* Experience in leading solution architectural work in large enterprise transformation programs
* Solid understanding of information architecture, data governance and BI service development methodology
* Deep experience in end-to-end model deployment methodology
* Experience in providing technical leadership, coaching and mentoring
* Have a genuine interest to learn new skills and help others to succeed
* Good communication and presentation skills, also fluency in written and oral English



As an architect you are business oriented and understand that architecture is a means to an end and not a goal in itself. You are eager to learn how the business works and how new technology in the BI area can be used to accelerate business and customer value. You can be described as self-motivated and have a can-do attitude and are able to work both individually and with other people from different parts of Swedbank. You would have to be prepared to travel.
