Title: Business Developer (check out in store) for H&M

Type: Full-time

Do you want to work at a global fashion company which is value-driven and prioritizes sustainable choices? H&M Business Development is looking for a Business developer who will focus on CHECKOUT IN-STORE.

This includes working with areas such as mobile POS (Point of Sale), self-service checkout, OMNI credit and checkout solutions, order in store, next generation POS, small and large enhancements to the global POS platform, reports generated from POS and more. This work is delivered with the goal to improve the customer experience and secure efficiency in our store operation.

Today the H&M group has 4900+ physical stores in 70+ markets representing a large majority of total sales. H&M has ambitious plans for store development with many initiatives aiming to link the physical and online stores to stay relevant and attractive for our customers and boost sales multi-channel.

As a Business Developer, you will analyze business needs for improvement and maintenance of the global POS platform and specialized POS solutions for all our brands. Together with a check-out team, you will act on a roadmap set within Business Development. You will play an important role in ensuring that development is closely aligned with prioritized business needs. Business Development has approximately 250 employees and we will be an expanding function moving ahead!

Your main responsibilities will be (but not limited to);

* Understanding and be an expert in business processes within checkout area and roles connected to checkout
* Proactively identifying, gathering, clarifying, and analyzing business needs to highlight dependencies and effects
* Translating business needs into clear requirements connected to business goals
* Defining business demands with input from other functions and creating high-level business cases and user-stories based on the demands
* Acting as a business developer and defining scope suggestions for development (markets, brands, functionality) based on the business demand
* Acting as the business owner of the requirement/demand towards IT
* Supporting requirement analysts from IT in reviewing requirement documents and purchase orders
* Supporting related IT areas in verification of solution proposals with business understanding during the development phase
* Supporting IT during user-acceptance tests and providing business acceptance criteria;
* Giving input to store support regarding training
* Managing business stakeholders and securing development and handover of new solutions
* Supporting analysis of business effects resulting from developments and,
* Be a business resource in cross functional projects that touch your area.

We expect that you have;

* Master's degree in business and/or engineering
* At least 2-3 years relevant work experience
* Structured and strong planning and executing skills together with a "can-do attitude" and a self-motivating way of working
* Easy and clear way of communicating;
* The ability to see the big picture and seeking business opportunities
* Experience from working in a large company is beneficial
* Experience and/or knowledge within the checkout/POS area is highly beneficial
* Knowledge about IT systems, organization and processes within retail is beneficial and,
* Fluency in English (written and verbal).
