Business Architect

The Automobile Club of Southern California is seeking an experienced Business Architect that will work with business leaders/ Sr. Management to build Business Architecture knowledgebase.

What you will be doing!

* Developing capability maps, operating model, industry benchmarks, customer journeys, processes, system applications, strategic solutions and roadmaps.
* Collaborate with Product Owners to refine product roadmaps.
* Collaborate with Product Management to develop benchmarks and capture/analyze industry trends. Engage actively with business stakeholders to evaluate and recommend solutions that improve the business.
* Four year college degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or other related field or equivalent work experience.
* Masters degree in related area ideal.
* Industry certifications and designations (e.g. CPCU for Insurance) preferred.
* 15 or more years of experience either in IT or within a business function defining & executing significant business and technology change efforts.
* 5 or more years in product management or with an external consulting organization in management consulting.
* Experience in working with and building relationships with senior level business and IT stakeholders.
* Experienced in a functional domain (e.g. Insurance, Claims, Contact Center etc.) - at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role in that domain.
* Ability to structure problems, analyze them and recommend solutions keeping all factors in mind.
* Exposure to Agile and Scrum, understanding of methodology and processes.
* Exceptional communication skills - both verbal and written.
