Who are we looking for?

The Business Application Manager (BAM) will play a critical role in bridging the use of the Xifin billing software (RPM), with the customer's laboratory testing methodologies. As a member of the Implementations team, you will be integral in configuring Xifin's billing application, to meet the customers organizational revenue goals. The BAM will be comfortable in discussing with customers, both internal and external, revenue cycle aspects such as eligibility, EDI transactions, denial management, payment posting and patient/client statements, for purposes of system configurations. By utilizing the knowledge of sound and compliant billing practices, they will analyze customers business needs, assess their practice workflows and develop strategies tailored to facilitating change management. A candidate that is a confident communicator and prides themselves on task management skills are a plus!

Responsibilities

* Provide guidance to XIFIN Customers in understanding XIFIN functionality and consults with the Customer to offer best practice solutions regarding compliance
* Provide XIFIN Customer with Best Billing Practices in the Laboratory Industry
* Domestic travel to Customers to provide training will be required
* Review workflow to enhance use of the system
* Maintain knowledge of current industry standards and regulatory requirements
* Develop training materials and facilitating group and one on one training

What qualifications are needed?

* Detail oriented and highly organized with excellent time management skills
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills including: Relationship management skills with the ability to handle conflict and negotiations, and strong meeting organization and facilitation skills
* Solid understanding of Laboratory or Clinical testing methodologies supporting billing
* Previous experience working with third party vendors or external customers
* Solid understanding of EDI transactions related to healthcare preferred
* Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in healthcare billing and collections software within the Accounts Receivable area
* BA/BS in Business, Healthcare IT/Mgt, or equivalent experience
