Job Description

Overview

WRMA, Inc., a TriMetrix Company, is seeking a professional and highly motivated Business Analyst to join our team and support federal and state healthcare projects in the Washington, D.C area. The Business Analyst, with knowledge of the Ryan White HIV/AIDS program, will work as a liaison between customers and technical staff to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements and business processes.

Responsibilities

* Provide expertise and leadership in eliciting and documenting user requirements for large, highly complex new systems and system enhancements.
* Conduct user interviews, performs workflow analysis, documents scope and objectives, and lead design sessions to define "As is" and "To be" processes.
* Ensure requirements are met throughout the systems development life cycle.
* Develop test scenarios for systems and prepare user acceptance test documentation by collaborating with system users.
* Coordinate unit testing, integration testing, production simulation and load testing, and network testing.
* Contribute to user guides, reference manuals, and training materials as appropriate.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or equivalent field is required
* Considerable knowledge of Ryan White HIV/AIDS programs
* Minimum of four (4) years of experience as a business analyst for complex systems.
* Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies and concepts translating requirements into user stories is a plus.
* Knowledge of and strong ability to implement the strategies and techniques used to ensure that customer needs are addressed in the solution design.
* Excellent communication skills, including both oral and written.
* Preferred technical experience with engineering/design teams and direct interaction with developers.
* Demonstrated experience documenting issues and risk, test plans, and test scripts.
* Excellent computer skills including MS applications - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Access.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

* Work in enclosed office with controlled temperature climates
* Long periods of sitting
* Long periods of computer use
* Lifting up to 25 pounds
* Long periods of focus and detail orientation

TRAVEL: Occasional travel may be required.
