Responsibilities

The Business Analyst - Application Support is responsible for supporting and maintenance of the bank's core banking system and all applications that interface with it along with Online banking, mobile banking and payment solutions for consumer bank. This person will also assist in evaluating business requirements and delivering new or enhanced software systems and integration solutions for retail and online banking channels; including but not limited to project management, configuration, testing, and documentation. This person will troubleshoot software/Application if conflicts arise, and works closely with the Application Support Manager to make sure all core applications are well maintained.

Qualifications

Qualifications• Three or more years of experience in Information Technology supporting core consumer banking and deposit systems. Experience with FIS IBS solutions preferred.• Required - experience and functional understanding of retail banking domain. • Support the contact center, digital support, Branch Operations, banking Operations and retail bank business units on various Core banking and digital technology issues and changes• Recreates client issues in test environment, identifies/documents how applications and systems interact to support business processes• Monitor vendor bulletins and notify business units on upcoming changes, and production incidents• Ability to understand and work on consumer banking IT risk and compliance remediation plans and risk mitigation plans for various domains such as Application security, incident management, issue and exception management, Disaster recovery etc.• Documents recurring technical issues to support process improvement and enhancements• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communications, organizational and multi-tasking skills.• Strong analytical and trouble shooting skills and experience. • Ability to translate business unit needs into technical specifications.• Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing priorities and technology.• Good working knowledge of relevant operational policies, procedures, and regulations• Highly competent in the use of and training ability on all applicable bank systems and programs.• Proficient with MS Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project• Basic SQL skills to analyze existing data and identify gaps/data quality issues• Experience working with diversified multi-location team• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline from an accredited four year college or university or 4 years equivalent experience is required.
