Business Analyst 3

We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our project team in building and implementing enterprise grade software systems. The ideal candidate will collaborate with product owners, stakeholders and scrum teams to understand and translate our customer's business and technical requirements. The Business Analyst will act as the subject matter expert assisting the scrum teams in modernizing a wide range of enterprise applications.

Responsibilities/Duties:

* Lead requirement discussions to document, analyze and translate functional and non-functional business requirements into project specifications, business process diagrams and workflows
* Assist the Product Owner with Backlog grooming, User Story development and prioritization
* Maintain requirements traceability and document change requests
* Participate in Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Scrum Meetings and other agile activities
* Analyze existing business process to identify gaps and areas of improvement
* Analyze datasets to identify quality issues
* Create or update project deliverables, artifacts and technical specifications in accordance with client requirements
* Support quality assurance and UAT activities
* Assist the team with troubleshooting problems and developing recommendations/solutions
* Demonstrate ability to manage multiple tasks and adhere to project schedules

Required Qualifications

Required Skills:

* Minimum of 5 years business analysis experience in a structured software development environment
* Excellent understanding of the software development life cycle
* Hands on experience with Agile projects
* Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast paced work environment

Education/Certification Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree
* Agile Training or Certification a plus

Clearance Requirements:

* U.S. Citizen or permanent resident and meet 3-year US residency requirement with the ability to attain a Public Trust clearance

Desired Skills:

* Experience with business process modeling, BPMN, and SQL is preferred
